There is always an upside as well as downside in any market.  If you are a first time homebuyer or investor, there are good buys, if you would like to spend $200,000 or less.   It was not long ago, that it was difficult to find any home in that price range.  Now it is estimated that there are about 10,000 homes in that range available for purchase.    Where do you find these homes?  Actually they are spread out across the Valley.  There are an abundance of low price homes in the outlying areas of Queen Creek, Surprise, Laveen, etc. but lower priced homes can also be found closer in.
