Population Growth In Maricopa County Provides Opportunities for Buyers and Sellers

This week it was announced that Maricopa County added more people than any other county in the United States. We have slowed down compared to past years but are still growing.  We now have a population of almost 4 million people.  This means that people are coming here still needing houses, and sellers have an opportunity to sell their homes.  It still is a "Buyer"s Market" with so much inventory available but a home priced right will still sell..

If you are a Seller, closely watch what is happening to prices in your neighborhood and take action, accordingly.  If you see that prices are remaining steady or are declining, don't fight what is happening.  If you insist on keeping your price higher than the market value of what Buyers are buying, chances are you will be holding on to your property for longer than necessary.  No one has a crystal ball, and at this time it is certainly possible to have prices continue to fall and if you wait for the market to "go up" no one knows when that will happen and how long you will have to wait.
